Sacred & Seen

Where Stories Meet, Identities Connect, and Every Voice is Sacred.

🎨🐾 Today my son wanted to draw a cat. When he realized he didn’t know how, I saw the disappointment wash over him—his shoulders dropped, his little face looked sad, almost defeated.

My first instinct was to draw it for him, to make the sadness go away. But I knew if I did that, he’d miss the chance to figure it out for himself—to feel the joy of accomplishment when he created it.

So instead, I offered him a video tutorial. He was still hesitant, but slowly he started to follow along—line by line, shape by shape. And as the cat began to take form, his whole energy shifted. Sadness turned into curiosity, curiosity into pride.

It reminded me of how Spirit/Source/God/Universe works with us.

We ask for things—guidance, clarity, healing, answers—and when they don’t appear instantly, we feel disappointed, sad, even defeated. We want the solution handed to us. But Spirit doesn’t just give us the finished picture. Instead, it provides the tools, the nudges, the inspiration—the “tutorials” that help us co-create.

✨ We are invited to pick up the pencil and try, even when it feels hard.
✨ We are called to trust the process, even when the first attempts don’t look like much.

And just like my son’s cat, our dreams, healing, and breakthroughs take shape one line at a time. Not because Spirit did it for us, but because Spirit taught us how to do it with Him.

💫 That’s the magic of co-creation: we don’t just receive the picture—we become the artist of our own life.

Sacred and Seen is a space where the intersections of identity are honored, and the sacredness of every story is uplifted. Through authentic conversations and reflections, we explore how experiences of race, gender, spirituality, motherhood, queerness, and culture shape who we are and how we connect. Rooted in the belief that our stories are interwoven and powerful, Sacred and Seen creates a space for deep listening, vulnerability, and collective healing—where every voice is seen, heard, and valued.
